Default 1987 Mustang GT Ignition Lock Cylinder Problem - Lost Keys, Please Help!

Is there another way that i can take my ignition lock cylinder out of the '87 Ford Mustang without keys? If there is can you please tell me? I'm a newbie at fixing cars so don't think that i know everything lol Please do check out my pictures and see if you can find a way.. Thanks!!

Only way I know, is to drill out the locking pin in the lock cylinder. Its hard as crap, and can be a pain to get a drill in the right spot. Once its drilled, it should slide out. take your time. May even try some kind of locksmith

Yeah i suppose i will just have to pay 80 bucks.. i guess it's no big deal really... as long as they can get it out, i'm satisfied

Better than tearing up the steering column. Plus the lock cylinder is pretty cheap.

All you have to do is get a dent puller in there and yank it out. Then start it with a flat head screwdriver. You can get a replacement lock and key for cheap from late model restoration.

Alright.. i saved myself 80 bucks... drilled the pin and the ignition came right out.. so i'm happy bout that.. i put in a new cyl in and now it wont turn.. so idk what am i doing wrong? do you think it's a bad cyl?
