For a 93 you just need to change the plastic gear on the end of the speed cable going into the tranny.
If you do mostly city driving 4.10's if you highway cruise as well 3.73's would be best!

I have 4.10's and LOVE them. I do mostly city driving. But I also hit the HWY whenever I want with no probs.

Yes the RPM's WILL be high on the FWY. Is it the end of the world?? Hell no. Even 5th gear pulls

In the 1/4 the 4.10's would be great.

4.10's are great for occasional driving and around town, and they're great for moderately powered cars at the track. If you do much highway driving and/or you are worried about gas milage though, consider going with 3.73's.

This may help
Gear Ratio Calc
I had 3.73's with my old T-5 with a 3:30 first gear. I think with 4.10's, 1st gear would be a pretty quick shift.
I'd go with 3.73's . Just my opinion.

i just switched from 3.55 to 4.10's,then back to 3.73..the 4.10's were AWESOME around town, but with a stock size tire(26"),they actually made my car SLOWER by a few tenths in the 1/4 mile..it just total;ly ran out of gear and was screaming at 6k rpms in 4th crossing the finish line..same would happen to a stock motor especially since the stock cam is done by 5k rpms..

since swapping back to 3.73,my car has picked up a tenth faster than with the 3.55's i origianlly had,but ive only been able to make 2 passes so far cuz we got rained out..theres def more in it,3.73 FTW in my case

i was shifting into 4th gear right at the 1/8 mile stripe with the 4.10's..they were just way too much gear for the engine combo/tire size..now if you have a motor that revs to 6500 or soem big ol 28" tall tires, you may be ok with 4.10's but for a stock mtoor and stock diamter tire i'd recommend 3.73's

I have 4.10's. They get you scootin quick. I broke my original T-5 after H/C/I swap and 26" drag radials. Have a T5-Z now and first gear is a bit more usable. Go with the 4.10's. They will make you a better driver. With a small tire you can shift a lot, or you can just skip gears. I can start out in 3rd and skip to 5th. If i want.
