Default Switching to Synthetic

I switched the oil on my '93 GT w/82,000 miles to synthetic when I bought the car. So far it has about 1200 miles on the oil, and there have been no problems so far. Should I worry about problems? Should I switch back to regular oil the next time I change it? Thanks for your input.

I used the Cast. Syn. on both of my cars and could not find anything that made a difference. I have almost 190K on my Lightning and used Valoline Racing Oil in it. I just could not use the extra money for the synethitic oil and not see a difference.

Valvoline or Castrol are good oils to use, cant see spending the extra $ to run synthetic when you should change it at 3000 miles anyways. Just my opinion. lol dude!!!

No you should not worry about problems from using synthetic. Why would you consider switching back? Only reason I could see is cost because synthetic oil is still superior.

well the sythetic helps on wear on startups is the main thing could double the life on the engine..also will give you a very slight hp gain about 1-1.5%. it real shines in real cold weather.
use can use any oil and get 100-125k on it but you can go 3500-4500 on oil changes then and the price is about the same..it doesn't break down as fast with less impurities. use a good filter such as k&n,amsoil is the best but fram is also good.
if you do get a leak it will need some attention quickly when using i. gasket in todays cars stand up very well to it
