Given the Combo, use the 1.7s and the stock cam

Get the cam since your engine is already going to be apart. That way you don't have to do the work twice.

Ok
1) Performance- 1.72 gives u a .472 lift that's near the GT40's peak flow of .500 more lift won't help.
2) Drivable- its a stock cam, they have been driven for over 200,000, so ya that's covered.
3) Sound- well its stock so not really a "good" sounding cam
4) Streatable- refer to # 2
5) Price- u have the stock cam so its free, new the frpp RR are like 200??? Used 100-130? Just depends.
6) RPM Range- well again stock so done by 6000 with the improved flow

Sorry, all ur stock valve train will work with 1.72's.

I think that for ur money the 1.72's would be best unless ur looking for the sound then a cam would be better.

What are u goals or future plans for the car?

Go with the stock camshaft and 1.72 rockers for overall driveability and power. The E-303 cam is a piece of junk, its a magazine queen.

With 6pounds later I would deff. Go with the stock cam and some 1.72's.all alphabit cams are old and out dated.
