im pretty close to buying some gt40p heads cause there cheaper than real gt40 but i herd from a few people that they dont have the "thermactor plumbing" smog pump stuff on the back of the head is that true and if it is a detailed guide on how to drill it, or a estimate for a machine shop to do it.
p.s. i need the cuz i live in California

And a ton of WD-40 lol
as far as i know, the only standard GT40 cast iron heads that came with the air holes drilled were the ones that came from the factory on 1993-1995 cobra's and possibly the F-150 Lightning pickups(not totally sure on those though).
ANY head from an Explorer/Mountaineer,GT40 or GT40P WILL NOT have the air holes drilled.. i have a set of GT40P heads on my car and a set of GT40 cast iron heads sitting in the garage..both are from explorers..neither have the holes drilled
i swear i recall reading somewhere that thumper or similar port/machine shop was able to drill the stuff out for you at fairly reasonable prices
