Default 1990 Mustang GT, tire rub with Lowering Springs

I have a 1990 GT with Ford 1" lowering springs. I recently bought 17x8 inch wheels with 245-45 tires. The fronts rub over dips in the road and turning too tight. I need to raise the front end up a little bit but don't want to go back to stock height, does anyone know if there are any springs that would raise it but not back an inch? Or if there is any other solution?

I have Eibach Pro springs in mine, about 1 less coil compared to stock, that's always an option. where exactly to you get rub happening? Usual places are the inside of the front bumper in front of the tires when turning, and also the inside of the tire/rim on the stock lower control arms...(theres actually an extra piece of metal on the control arms where the wheels will hit). You said over dips in the road you get rubbing. You can try getting the inner lip of your wheel wells rolled with a special tool to allow more clearance, and also I run 235's for that reason too.

Hope this helps!

You just need to install 235/40/tires on the front. The rim will rub on one side but only at full turn and you should just be able to grind down the a arm like 1/4" in that spot.

Maybe the backspacing on your wheels is too much. I have the same springs "C" and tires. Mine only rub on full left turn lock in reverse. check your backspacing, wheel may be out too far.

Either the 235/40 tires or do some modifying. 245's always seem to rub.
