okay so im in the middle of my swap and i need help. I need to know if i can remove all of the emissions and not have a problem. And if so how can i do it?
thermactor..bottom pass side of engine...throw that sucker out..be sure to plug holes in the rear of each head where the themactor pipes went....crymp off the pertruding mid pipe exaust area also.....I did away with the charcoal boxes also...the hose that comes from the pass firewall area that went to the boxes....leave this on and dont plug it...it is the vent to your gas tank....I trashed all my egr crap...not hard to do with cobra intakes. I caned the stock 4 converter mid pipe and threw on high flow cats....Mass doesnt have emissions for older cars anymore, though up to last year it passed no problem.
