Default CLutch Pedal Freeplay 1990 Mustang

Can anyone tell me what the spec is for proper pedal freeplay on the clutch is for a 1990 5.0L with the T5 of course.

Also am I right in saying that clutch pedal freeplay decreases as the clutch facings begin to wear?

How far down the pedal do you find the clutch engagement happening? Mine is closer to the floor and lets me know its time for a new clutch cable/ adjustable quadrant kit. Steeda here I come.

clutch engagment?....for me it's within an inch off of the floor...pretty well always has been. It's the only car I've driven like it. Usually with other cars, the clutch doesn't grab until about 1/3 the total travel of the pedal from the floor.
