I would go with the trickflow. I havnt installed one myself but I hear they dont sacrifice low end grunt like the Holley would.

Best intake for my 87 stang (--bbk...trick flow...edelbrock...cobra intake...holley....others--)
i want upgrade my performance, then my next step camshaft?
We need to know what you already have done to your car, which I'm guessing the heads and cam are still stock...?
What heads do you PLAN on getting? What is your HP goal?
For a mild street combo, any of the GT40 intakes (tubular, Cobra, Explorer), Edelbrock Performer, Trick Flow Street Heat, any of those will work good for stock heads or mild heads. The Holley Systemax, Eddie RPM II, or Trick Flow Track Heat intakes are higher flowing intakes.

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP GUYS, IM USING MY CAR ONLY WEEKENDS FOR RACE?
AND I WANT MY INTAKE TO WORK IDDLE-5500RPM BECAUSE IM ONLY INTERESTING IN DRAG RACE THANKS, I HOPE THIS HELP YOU TO GIVE ME A GOOD ANSWER....THANKS...
Idle-5500rpm is for a street combo. For the track, a 1500-6500rpm combo with steeper gears is more appropriate. For that, you can choose between the Eddy Performer RPM II, Holley Systemax II, and the TFS Trach Heat.
The only TFS intake I recommend is the TFS-R with the long runner upper or box upper, but it's too much intake for you now. Your next upgrade should be heads after the intake - based on what heads and power level you want, then you can choose the intake now - otherwise it's a shot in the dark. For stock E7, or stock GT40 heads, you can't beat a Cobra or Performer. If you then choose a head that flows less than 250cfm then a ported Cobra/Performer ia almost unbeatable even by the other intakes listed. Now, get heads that flow 275+ cfm and then the RPMII, Holley or even the TFS-R come into consideration. Just remember, the more flow and more camshaft you use on a 302-306, the less truly streetable they tend to become unless you get some real good help.

I agree.
If this is going to be a track ONLY car, with maybe a couple miles on the street here and there we're in a ballpark.
If you're racing, you're hardly going to be sitting at idle which means you'll want a combo that can perform more in the mid-upper RPM range.
For that you'll want the RMP II or Holley. The TrickFlow-R is a good intake I never think of it though. I see those on 351W swaps a lot though, so the "R" intake has to flow pretty good.
You just need to decide on a good flowing head, such as AFR 185's for example.
