Default 1985 Mustang Power Window Issues

My 1985 Mustang GT Hatchback, recently developed a problem with its power window on the passenger side. The window will only go down, not up. I replaced both the motor and switch already and the problem isn't fixed. Also only the passenger side switch seems to have any control, it will go down from that side, but nothing will happen from the switch on the drivers side. Please Help, Im completly out of ideas on how to fix this. Thanks

Sounds like a wiring issue. Time to check for continuity.

Get a test light or a mulitmeter & put in on the switch to check for power. Turn key power on & move it in different postions to see if theres any. If there is then move on to the motor.

Everything has power, when the switch is in different positions, the wires are getting the power they are supposed to, and Ive already replaced the motor.

There is voltage downstream of the switch when you change the state of the switch? At rest there should be none, then each way you move the switch a different wire will have voltage. If the motor has voltage and it doesn't move, or even try to move, it doesn't work.

You can trust me, I'm an electrician
