I replace the sending unit and still no oil pressure is registering on the gauge. I replaced the heater core last week and also disconnected my air bag cntrl module. I am wondering if this has something to do with it. Also my dooe chime is very quiet????

Idle and driving car sounds fine no weird or loud noises present??
I could use some help

buy a cheap mechanical oil pressure gauge and hook it up to your sender, if your oil pressure is still low, it may be something like your oil pump, or maybe main bearings but i doubt it if you said theres no weird noises.

I removed my cluster and found something. I looked up the wire that feed the oil pressure gauge in the cluster. It is pin num 8 on the harness on the right side. I noticed that I have a tear in the green tape/from pin 8 to the guge.

Would this cause my problem I am thinking this is the reason???
