im new to all of this and have been doing alot of research and was woundering if i swaped my 302 block for a stroked 351 what parts would i need to replace and what parts i could use from my stock 302? if it gets to complicated im gunna go with a 347. any info would be great!

I used to have a link that showed all the parts needed to do a 351W swap, but can't find it now. Almost all of your 302 parts are interchangeable to the 351 except the lower intake. I think the accessory brackets and everything are the same even.

It's not a HARD swap to do. It'll pretty much be like swapping in another 302. The 351W is a taller engine so you might run into hood clearance problems. This can be solved by doing one of the following: Cowl hood (at least 1"), 3/4" drop motor mounts, or you can get motor mounts from a FOX convertible to drop the engine a little more.

What you can keep:
timing cover
valve covers
engine mounts
upper EFI intake
water pump
accessory pulleys
cylinder heads if bolt holes are enlarged from 7/16 to 1/2 inch

What you need:
351 oil pan for the Fox chassis
351 oil pump
351 oil pump pickup
351 oil pump driveshaft
351 distributor
351 lower EFI intake
351 accessory brackets
351 headers
