When going down the road giving it gas, then letting of the gas it will slip out of gear sometimes. (2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th gear) is that normal or not. The transmission is brand new (3 months old). Could this be a clutch adjustment or is that just normal for the tremec T5.

Thats not normal for a tremec trans. Sounds like as new as it may be the synchros are bad. There isnt any adjustment on a tremec just the clutch adjustment and if its going into gear there isnt a issue with that. If you didnt replace your trans mount i would start there and make sure its good. That will cause this issue.

Check fluid but sounds like a rebuild is in order.

I would actually look at the clutch, what you describe sounds like it might be slipping.

Yeah sounds like a clutch adjustment, especially if you smell something burning.

Now that you mention it (79stangghia), I do smell something burning. especially when i shift at higher rpm. Well I guess it might be time for a new clutch, before I do that though, what is the adjustment on the clutch pedal again. Push down then click up with toe....
