How many miles on the heads ? If it is over 75,000 and you plan on keeping the car for a while but dont want to fork out the $ for nice heads, get new valves and valve springs. Have them check the head for warpage too. It is highly recommended that you use new head bolts. Get ARP , it's cheap insurance.
Engine Has 151,000 On It And Was Thinking Since I Will Have To Replace Head Gasket If It Be Better To Just Go Ahead And Rebuild Instead Of Doing Head Gasket And Then Having Something Else Go Wrong In The Next Year
Money I Have None
Figured Take Engine Out In Month Or 2 Then Start Taking Apart Get Bored Or Honed Or What Ever Then Go Ahead In Spring And Do H/C/I And Some Other Stuff
Basically Thinking Put It Up Off The Ground With About 15 Inch Of Cinder Blocks Under The Tires Do Alittle Suspension Work
Maybe Get A Body Kit To Put On It
Take Engine Out As Soon As I Am Done Rebuilding My S-10 Engine And Then Either Building Or Stroking This One And Having It Done Next Summer
That Sound Like Good Idea
