Default Dash Wiring....Can anybody help me out?

I'm in the process of converting my 83 interior to a 91. I have the dash harness itself and as some of you know it's full of a connectors. Anybody have a diagram listing where all the connectors belong? I did searches and the only thing I could find was engine harness diagrams but not none for the dash itself. IMO that waaay less complicated than the dash harness. Thanks guys!

Nice 'stang! What would you have to have for those GT-40P headers? Sorry I can't help you with the wiring problem.

I put a 93 interior in my 91 GT and it was a pain in the ass. I used the Haynes Repair Manual for wiring diagrams. I don't know if it will help, but you can pick one up at Discount or Advanced Auto Parts. It did the job for me.

I have the Haynes Manual but it doesn't help my particular application (seems to me that I have a modified 87+ harness w/ 83 dash connectors. I decided on just find another harness out of some other stang and put it in my car (I'll never be able to make any sense of this one considering I didn't modify it in the first place). It will probably save me plenty of headaches in the long run.

BTW why did you go from a 91 to 93 interior? 87-93 are identical (maybe I'm wrong). It should have bolted right in. I know in my application I had to install a new heater box as well as cut off mounting brackets in my 83 to fit the new dash.

I switched because of color. My interior was red and everytime I saw it, it pissed me off. It was an awful 1980s style red. I switched to a gray/black interior. I mainly used the manual because it was a weekend project and sometimes I needed a little reminder of what I was looking at.

Also, before the switch, my wipers and turn signals didn't work, so while I had the dash out, I played around with the wiring to figure out what was going on.

The switch was easy, I just used the diagram for the faulty parts (wipers/turn signals). I chose the 93 because it was the only complete interior I found near me (save on shipping).

I was lucky enought to find the grey/black dash for mine too. However I ended up w/ a porno red console from an 88. I just bought some plasti kote vinyl paint and sprayed the entire thing black. Honestly, you wouldn't know it was painted.

Cool...I got my stock headers on now. Amazing what a big hammer and a MAP torch can do!
