I had mine replaced for about $450 with that plastic type window. My friends 93 vert ran about $1200 because they had to reweld a lot of things and get new latches.

My first car was an 89 GT convertible and we had the top replaced right when I got it. It ended up costing 1000 bucks and the place had the car for almost a month. Good thing I bought it 2 months before I turned 16!

I have a video from Ford (my Dad was a body man at a Ford dealership) that shows step-by-step how to install a convertible top on an 87 mustang. I'd be willing to make a copy of it if you want it.

It took them about 2 days to do mine. They had it there for about 2 weeks waiting for it right top to come in.

I had a pro install mine. He had it for one full day. I went with a cloth top/new rear glass. Came to $1100 parts/labor. Although a bit pricey, it was well worth it.
