When i place my hand on the bottom part of my steering wheel i can feel this weird rattling (no noise or anything). I just had my rack and pinion replaced and that works fine now but its always had that weird feel to the steering wheel. Anyone know what could be causing this?

Have the front end checked, and maybe check the tires for balance. Sounds like maybe a weight fell off the tire? Hopefully someone else will have better ideas for you.

Actually ron thats a good idea i was going to get my tires balanced/rotated this weekend anyway cause i have this free plan. I'm assuming the front end is okay considering my mechanic would have told me when he put the rack and pinion in. Its worth a try, thanks!
