Default shocks and struts are all new and i still feel every bump in the road

do the springs in our stangs get weak over the years? my shocks and struts are all new and i have new lakewood upper and lower control arms and i still feel every bump in the road it’s driving me nuts. I’m looking to keep my ride the same height but all the springs I see want to lower the car. I found FMS springs that lower the car 7/8 if I use these springs do I have to use caster/camber plates? and with a 7/8 drop will it ride better?

my f250 rides better than my stang

Same here. I have new springs, isolators, sway bar endlink bushings, caster camber plates, subframe connectors and it every little bump in the road seems to HIT my car instead of be absorbed by the suspension.

I know the mustang isnt designed to be a luxury car, but I have to think something else is wrong?

I think it is normal. I put lowering springs, shocks and struts on ours and it really firmed out the ride quite a bit compared to stock. It's jsut something you have to live with if you want a more performance based ride. My Dodge Dakota rides 100 times smother then our stang but I'll take the Stang anyday.

Yes your springs do get weaker with wear like any moving part.
What shocks and struts did you get? The proformance type will reduce ride quality. And lowering the car will firm up the ride also, but with the right strut and shock combo can be tamed back alittle. It also depends on the springs, don't buy competition/racing springs, get sport style. You don't need caster/camber plates, so save your money. What tire/rim combo you running, low profile tires handle better and look cool at a cost of ride quailty also. Plus your new uppers/lowers have much firmer bushings than stock. This stuff starts stacking up and before you know it your not happy with ride quality.

You have to find a happy meadian between handling and ride quality, because you can't have best of both at the same time. My car will out handle most anything on the street, but I can feel paint stripes through the steering wheel. This to me is heaven on earth, but most whould never tolerate the ride quality.

Nothing wrong with your car, just your suspension choices. You went alittle to far towards porformance (which looking at your sig. should be damn good), and lost the ride quality.
