edelbrock intake making me smoke?

I have a Edelbrock Performer 5.0 intake and theres oil in the upper. I guess this from no baffle on the lower at the pcv, I'm going to fix that, but I get smoke on start up and during heavy throttle. My brother says valve seals, but the heads have a new valve job on them. Could the smoke be from the oil in the upper intake?

Umm..... Yeah. The pcv valve connects to the intake. You suck in oil, gonna burn it....

Make sure you dont have any coolant leaks.
