I'm helping a buddy out with his 91 gt. He just installed a powerdyne s/c and the FMS radiator. He would also like to add an electric fan and ditch the stock fan. Which fan setup will fit with the s/c, and still be reliable & keep the car cool? I figured someone has to have done this before. Thanks

Have you looked at the flex a lite black magic fan yet ? It moves alot of air .

I've heard alot of bad things about the black magic fan setup.

I've been using Derale fans for years. Unlike the Black Magic, these really do move allot of air

I used two 12" fans (p/n DER-16512). One mounted at the inlet and outlet of the radiator. They where also mounted to a shroud. I will get a pic. tonight for ya.

That was my old set-up. it will be used in my son's 90. I have a new, larger radiator. It will have a single 16" fan (p/n DER-16516) mounted onto a shroud. I have not built the shroud yet, so no pics yet

What size fan blade does a 5.0 use? I might get one of those Derale fans and I want it to be similar size to stock. Do you have to use the original fan shroud with it (the one that says CAUTION on it)?
