Switching lower intakes, how do I change injectors over
I'm switching over to a GT-40 intake...when moving injectors from one to the other is there anything I need to know besides putting in new o-rings with each injector? I plan on taking the old lower off and leaving the injectors in it until off the car that way I won't lose anything. Thanks for any help.

I'm pretty simple myself so when I disassemble anything I usually label or number things with a bit of tape, like in this case the harness for the injectors to ensure proper instalation but thats just a personal preference. Other than having a good look at the injectors for ie.cracks at the nozzle end, cleaning the connections and using a bit of lub on the o-rings before instalation, that's about all I can think of.

The o-rings are a special o-ring . They have to be oil and fuel resistant . Not just a regular rubber o-ring . You just pull them out and stick them in . Nothing to it . Use a SMALL amount of die electric grease on the o-rings and be very careful not to get the grease on the injector . Pretty easy . Number all the injectors so that they go back into the same hole they came out of . And , As Stan said , number the clips from the harness so that the harness gets back on right . If you hook up the harness wrong , then the car will run like crap . Just lable everything

You cant really hook up the injector wiring harness wrong. Hooking up injector 1 on #4 is not possible because the harness is not long enough. Just hook up the injectors in front of the the car first, then work back.
After you disconnect the fuel lines with the special airconditioning / fuel line tools, you just wiggle the lines off to release the injectors.
Also check to make sure the oring didnt get stuck in the old intake if you are reusing the intake.
Yep Ghostdog 5.0 is right about maybe not being possible for #4 and #1 being crossed-up, but still a healthy practice to get into by labeling before disassembliling, the amount of time it take can save you a lot of anguish more often than not.
Along with checking the lower intake for o-rings after you remove the injectors, also check the injector on the opposite side of the injector for the o-ring seal (which often comes of and remain in the fuel rail).
Cheers

Thanks guys, I started on the removal last night (and have been labeling all the hoses/connections). And was wondering what to do/use when unhooking the electrical connections on the injector? I don't want to break the clips. Thanks again.
