is it a wide band? if so put it on its own o2 sensor, if its narrow band you just tap in to the signal wire going to your PCM

I need help too

My new to me 93 gt has a air/fuel gauge on the a pillar that is not hooked up, but it does have a wire going down to the 02 sensor and is just zip tied to it. How can you figure out if it is a wide band or narrow band from that? I didnt install it and it doesnt have an extra 02 sensor laying around to install for it... Its just sitting there all useless...

NA cars still lean out/run rich. Its nice to know where your af is at. His wont really be any help though, seeing as its narrowband

i have 5 gauges in my car, due to the fact if I have a problem I can pinpoint where to look first.

Splain to me what a NA car is please, I havent heard this one yet. So your saying (if your talking about mine) thats it a narrow band? It had the gauge mounted in the pod already so I figured I'd hook it up for the S&G's of it, never messed with one before. Thanks.

NA is naturally aspirated meaning no power adders ie turbo, supercharger etc. If you gauge just taps into the o2 sensor harness then its a narrow band. Wont be real helpful especially compared to a wideband even though ive never had one. You can hook it up since its already there. Guess a working gauge looks better than a dead one

No probably wont help with that. You should do other things like check your fuel pressure and pull your plugs to see what they look like
