I have already installed 1.7 cobra roller rockers and headers and exhaust. But this cam on has .444 lift and about 180 degrees of duration. I am thinking of putting in a B303 camshaft instead. Has anyone else done this? Thanks |
The b cam will work fine, just make sure that the lifters ahave their holder. Just like any motor the heads are going to give you the most gain. The 351 can handle more head than the stock 302 and it will respond great with the b cam. You may be able to get more cam such as the E cam with your rockers but check clearance.
Is your F 150 an auto or stick? The best thing to do after the cam change is the torque converter. We saw 3/4 a second just with that change alone considering the cam, heads and intake.
