How To Replace Door Locks And Cylinders - Ignition Lock Cylinder - Mustang Monthly Magazine thats older stangs sorry its a little different in some areas

turn the key to the accessory position, insert a paper clip into the little hole on the face of the lock cylinder to release the lock pin, turn the key a little further in a counter clock-wise direction and the lock cylinder will pull out.

The problem with the current lock cylinder is that it keeps turning it doesnt stay still in one position and I do not have the key to it. Any picture available of where I have to install the paper clip?

ugly! you may have to break it so you can turn the cylinder. Otherwise there is always a locksmith.

On the 94 style ignition cylinders they tend to spin only the collar and not the entire cylinder. If you look inside the keyed portion does not spin with the outside collar. I would go with a locksmith If you do not have any keys. If you have AAA, they will cover up to 100 bucks on a locksmith charge, depending on what membership you have.
