1991 mustang... running like poo...

ok so its a fox body 5.0 twin turbo so that complicates things a little bit. i was getting on it a little the other day but keeping it off the boost when i heard a pop... not super loud but just like mabe a backfire then i lost power, no rods sticking out of the block, no coolant leaks, no oil leaks, it idles fine but any time you try to rev it up it misses and backfires, it will rap up fine, just cut out when your trying to hold engine at rpm, i already checked for vacuum leaks and found one on the #1 injector but thats fixed and it still runs bad, the car is running #42 injectors and runs super rich... so my thoughts are mabe its flooding out? idk... ive tried everything short of taiking it to a shop. any suggestions would be much appriceated.

yes all the plugs were tight and all the vacuum lines connected. i replaced the timing chain with a gear drive today, the timing chain had streched alot, so i made shure everything still lined up and again same problem when i started it up a few min ago. how do i go about posting videos on here... it idles rough as hell on start up, then smooths out, then when you try to hold it at say 2000 or 2500 rpm it gets there and then randomly drops off every few seconds or so... its gota be something stupid and small that im missing, otherwise its computer problems, this is the first fuel injected vehicle that ive ever worked with so when it comes to computers all i know is that it all has to work or your scratching your head and swearing for a long time. ill try to see if i can get a video on here

Do a fuel pressure test? Could be the pressure has wandered (if it's adjustable) or the Fuel Pressure Regulator just simply went bad.

i still have good fuel pressure... i was thinking it may be flooding itself out, so i cranked it down to about 30 psi, still running like crap, im running out of ideas, however i do have a carbed intake in my storage unit, i may slap that on and see if its the fuel injection system or not.
