I am building a 331 engine, with trick flow heads, a huge cam, supercharger, etc. what type of gas do you think i would have to use, or could I use pump gas on the street and race gas at the track. its not a daily driver, will use it mostly for cruising and at the track.
Unless you are going high compression, over 9.5 to 1, or running a ton of boost on a blown engine there is no reason 92 or 93 octane would not do fine.
Why the high compression w/ the blower? Is it already built? I would suggest nothing but race ful at that compression, but you might consider raising the head cc to compensate, or different pistons. JMO

i think the piston heads are the way to go... cheap fix to lower the compression ratio. my 2 cents

Yes when i bought my stroker kit, it read 10.13:1 @ 58 cc, my heads are rated at 64 cc. so actually i dont know what my compression is going to be with the 10 to 11 psi on the blower. Then hopefully in the next 6 months i will be buying at new blower that is rated at 18 psi.

dude;be advised you dont need race fuel. At least not 24-7. You need 93 24-7.If you know your going to be blasting around tonight or tomorrow then you need to mix by adding race fuel thats it my man.
When are we not "blasting around?" I dont know about you Stingrey, but everytime my engine starts, its GO TIME!!!!
