Default 91 mustang gt gas odor inside car

Here's the thing i know my tps is off a little and know its running rich but here lately the smell of gas fumes are awful. Especially in the last few days when it has been a little warmer in Ga. Also when i take my fuel cap off to fill up it is under alot of pressure it hiss's for a good 10 to 15 sec. IS THAT NORMAL.
The car has no smog pump or charcoal canister on it as well. Any help would be great

http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forum...rcoal-box.html This post should help. Search "charcoal". There's a few more complaining of fuel odor.

Without the charcoal can and purge valves working properly the tank will build excess pressure in warm weather. That system normally burns the excess fumes after storing them in the can. So without it the fumes just blow into the car and everywhere else. Anyone got a light? Hope your not a smoker!:hihi:

Hail Almighty 2.3L!
