Question Rear end fluid capacity???

Still trying to find out the fluid capacity for an 8.8 posi rear end. Just an approximation would help. Need to change out the gear lube and want to purchase the correct amount of lube!

Buy two bottles and you should be fine. I think it is actually 1 3/4 bottles, but not quite sure.

put in the friction modifyer and fill the rest with fluid.
The fluid goes right up to the drain plug.

You only need 8oz of the friction modifier. Like Vortex said fill it up to the check plup. It's easier if you take the bolt off of the balancer it will give you more room to get the bottle in ther with out spilling as much and cursing too.
