So, I have finally got my Magnaflow X on the car. Took about 5 hours total, but 3 days (too long without the stang) with my schedule. Only thing is that today while bolting up the last bolt to the header, I hear a loud "POP". And yeah, I broke the freaking bolt. Now I have a car with a huge exhaust leak, so big I sound like a Chevy (no tone, just loud). What should I do now? Should I buy a new bolt and try to fit it or just get a shop to do it. Its on the passenger side, so I know it will be a PITA. I just don't know if its worth my time. What do you guys think?

i agree with that and i wouldnt drive it unless i didnt have a chance.
Yeah, it looks kind of bad. I think almost cried when heard it pop. After this I don't think I'm going to mess with the exhaust myself anymore. Its always a PITA. What do you guys think a reasonable price would be to get the bolt replaced?

I just got back from the shop. $25 and 45 minutes later I could hear the 5.0 roar the way it should. For anyone who says a X pipe and flowmasters don't mix, come on over and I'll change your mind . I love it. It feels like it pulls harder up top. Well anyway, I learn a lesson this weekend and that is if you are doing exhaust work, get on a lift.
