Default Blown Head Gasket

The reason why my Mustang was undrivable last week (see past post) and had ZERO compression on the passenger side cylinder head was because the head gasket blew. This is somewhat a relief for i was expecting piston & valve damage.

Nevertheless, blowing a head gasket after only 6 months from the time i had the gaskets replaced because of the very same reason is disheartening.

My mechanic is saying that metal head gaskets must be used because of the increased pressure due to the Vortech supercharger i have on.

What brand of metal head gaskets i should be looking for?

I understang Fel-Pro has the "loc-wire" head gasket but the cylinder head must but be o-ringed.. My Trick Flow heads can not be o-ringed because there is not enough materal to create an o-ring because of the porting that i had done.

The heads have been removed and will be resurfaced & rebuilt, if necessary.

I need advice on what brand of metal head gasket to get.

keep in mind that if you cut the head piston to valve clearance will need to be checked and comp will be bumped up.if its not warped dont cut it.
