I am trying to help some non-car expert friends locate a fuel gauge (in the tank I guess) sending unit for a 1984 Mustang Convertible with a 5.0 L V-8. The VIN is 1FABP27M2EF######.

Can anyone point me to a good source of parts for this item?

do you need the guage or the sending unit ? You should be able to get the sending unit at any parts store . and the guage may be a trick to find .
