How much horsepower/troque can the 5.0 trannys hold?

Its the T-5 right? Do you guys know how much horsepower/troque these trannies take?

400/400 for a little while, Id say 350/350 for a little longer, but a stock t-5 isnt really a good race tranny

T-5's weren't intended for use behind a V8 to begin with. So they don't usually do well with a modified V8, making more than about 350 lb of torque. Some people get "lucky," or so I'm told. I shattered 9 of them over the years before getting a Tremec.
