I just bought an 89 GT and changing the tail light lenses. Apparently there are two versions of the SVO/Cobra lenses. One has black stripes and one has charcoal stripes. Can anyone tell me which color was used on the 93 model Cobra's?

Most of the lenses I have seen are charcoal. I think the black striped lenses are reproductions.

If you don't feel like spending $150+ on a set of real SVO/Cobra tails, get a set of 85-86 tails and some pinstriping from a parts store and make your own. Here's how mine look:

I ordered the Charcoal lenses. Guess I have a thing about authentic parts, I went ahead and spent the $160. on Ford part #'s.
