I'm looking to buy cat back exhaust with an x pipe. I was going for magnaflow. I't gonan run me for 7-8 hundred. Should i just go with flowmaster 2 chamber or something in that park thats cheaper and call it a day. Is it that big of a deal???

I personally dislike flowmaster. I've dealt with their noise for far too long and finally went with magnaflow. Not only did it sound more peaceful at idle and light cruising, it added a lot more power compared to flowmaster. It's not close to stock quietness, once you get about 2500 rpm, it starts to growl nicely.

I would stick with all magnaflow or greater/equivelant.

I would agree I have flowmaster's on mine and they are ok but I would go with something else

Hey...I use to run a MAC cat-back on my car. When driving "normally" down the street it's very mellow and has a nice rumble to it, but when you get on it roars unlike anything else. I was running MAC long tube headers & MAC o/r H pipe but I have sence been doing work to my car and I'm now running FlowTech long tubes and a FlowTech o/r X pipe w. the MAC mufflers & turn downs.

If you are looking for exhaust I am actually selling the MAC long tubes, MAC o/r H & a brand new FlowMaster American Thunder cat-back. The headers have some surface rust on them, nothing a little sanding won't take care of,H has very few rust spots also surface, Flowmasters are, as said, brand new.

I'm looking for $400 + shipping.
