Default headers

I would go with the shorties, even though the long tubes would give you more power. The long tube headers will eat up your spark plug wires, cause u gotta wrap the wires around the headers.

plus with most shorties you can retain your original h pipe, but with long tubes you to either buy a new one for long tube headers or make a new own.

Why would you have to wrap the plug wires around the headers? That is one of the silliest things I have ever heard. Long tube and short tube headers mount to the heads in the same way so there are no plug wire problems.
If you want to retain the factory h-pipe then get shorties, however I would install the long tubes and new intermediate pipes to get the most from the installation. The long tubes will increase the torque curve, and eliminating the cats will improve the sound & power.
