my oil pressure gauge on my 1986 mustang is just kind of goes back and forth and it doesn't move when i get on it could this possible be the oil pressure switch? and if so where is the oil pressure switch located?
as YLDPONY said its possible, its exactly what happend to my 1996 Bonneville SSEI, gauge kept on going nuts back and forth but not when u drive, itll die and freeze lol. It was exactly that a sending unit
If you need help finding the sender, I attached a picture. Yous won't have the braided stainless steel line running to it, that is for a mechanical oil pressure gauge I have. Nevertheless, it attaches to the same port as the electric sender did.
