Default Rear End Rebuild, Whats involved?

My rear end is roaring. Its not incredibly loud but it is noticeable. Also, when i come to a stop i can hear a grinding sound in the rear. I'm guessing its time to rebuild my worn rear end. I purchased new ford 3:73 gears and i know the posi needs rebuilt too. Can i do the posi and rear wheel bearing myself? What else needs to be changed? Is it cheaper and/or easier to buy complete new rear axles? Do i need to pull the rear end out of the car? I've never rebuild a tranny, engine, or rear end before. I have done most everything else however.

Your rear end is roaring? I thought I told you to eat less Taco bell.

As for doing it yourself. I think it would be better to let someone else that knows exactly what to do , do it. There are special tools needed and if you can't figure it out, you then have to pay someone to fix it, and tow it to them. Not good.
