You will need a bigger alternator. That is not question. You have several factory choices and aftermarket. How much do you have to spend? Did the clutch fail or just the blade broke ?
The benefits of an electric fan are pretty cool. You get much faster warm ups, less belt drag, easier to work on engine, ability to have it cool when the car is off, and you can chose how much power you want from the motor.
I have an 80 amp alternator, I just got it in so you think I'll need another one. I was hoping to kep this one because it is new. And by the way the clutch broke not the fan. I already bought a proform electric fan it should be here in 2-3 days.

That is 5 more amps than stock, nothing to get excited about. If you get a bigger alternator, you need thicker wire running from your alternator to your starter solenoid. 2 or 4 gauge wire should be sufficient. If you need help with the alternator conversion I can help.
You're going to put a huge strain on your charging system if you use an 80amp alternator. You'd be lucky if your headlights lit up completely with the fan on.
