Default 1990 mustang lx 5.0L GT40 upper and lower intake swap

Hi I did a GT40 upper and lower intake swap on my 5.0, I changed all of the gaskets the upper and lower intake gasket, Changed my oil, bought a new distributer, and I re-timed my whole motor. It still doesnt want to kick over I was wondering if i needed a tune for the fuel to air ratio that i have now my motor currently has gt40 heads, b303 cobra cam, bbk cold air intake, bbk long tube headers to a bbk catless h-pipe to magnaflow mufflers. I was just wondering if i needed a tune for it to run like new again if i could get a follow up by an expert I would really appreciate it if you would like to know anymore please email me at codylebrun12@gmail.com.

You definitely don't need a tune for a simple intake swap. What do you mean "it doesn't want to kick over?" It won't start :?:

Did you hook up the distributor correctly?

Good chance your timing is now whacked if you did not mark the dist and get it lined up.

It's likely a spark issue....

Like they said your timing was off.

And the gaskets well you gotta do the correct torque sequence and proper force. Also a good idea to re-torque them after a couple of little heat cycles.

+1 to that on the lower intake to head bolts. I always seem to get another half turn (or more) out of them. This is why you really should use anti-seize on those bolts.
