Hey guys im new on this forum. Ive got a line on a bunch of parts for my car. Before i rattle off the stuff my car is a 87 GT, im hopefully getting the mass air computer/harness/sensor this weekend. This car is going to be my daily driver, but i want it to be a quick daily driver that i can put up some respectable numbers at the strip on weekends. What the car has now is a Cobra upper and lower intake and i just installed a set of motorsport 3.73 gears. Ive got a line on some parts from a buddy of mine. The deal is that i will get B+M Short throw shifter, a set of hooker headers equal length shorys, a Mac X Pipe, a BBK 70mm Throttle Body, a Set of GT-40 heads of a 93 cobra, that have been CNC Ported ( not sure how much ) with a competition valve job. Supposed to outflow GT-40 aluminum Y heads and supposed to compete with GT-40X heads on flow numbers. The heads have scorpion stud mounted roller rockers that come with it. I would also get a Trickflow stage 2 roller cam. With a set of pushrods. I would be able to get all of this for $1,000.00 Im really unsure about what i should do here. Am i getting a good deal? What do you guys think? Should i go for it? Thanks in advance for any replies
If you bought all of that stuff new youd be in about $3000. thats just a guess off the top of my head, but $1000 is well worth all of that stuff if its in good condition.
