i hate to say it, but my tranny is going any day now . its starting to slip pretty bad. im thinking about going with a C4 . if i do this, what else has to be changed? is a c4 a good idea, or should i just stick with the aod and do a performance rebuild? thanks!

Is it going to be a street car or only seeing track time ? I think an AOD would be the best from a mileage stand point.

ghostdog covered ya on that.........but in my humble opinion, i wouldn't switch out.........most people convert from auto to stick.........just get a better tranny and clutch........and if you wanna race, learn to powershift...........git r dun..........hotwheels of turborides

ive got an AOD right now, so id like to stick with an automatic. im the only person i know with an auto coupe mustang, so id like to remain the black sheep in my group . whatever transmission i decide on, i am going with a bigger stall, probably around 2500 rpm... is this a decent stall for a daily driver? and i do need a lot of mileage out of it... so an AOD would be the best choice then eh...
