need help with fuel pump relay problem

have an 85 GT 5.0 w/throttle body, where the fuel pump relay only works for 1.5 hour. any ideas on what keeps going wrong?

Try substituting a known good relay.

what meangreen said...........may be a bad relay, or could be a sign that your fuel pump is going bad.............

Replaced both the relay and pump with know working ones and still have the same problem.
