If you are in doubt, check under the car to see that it is pulling the clutch fork toward the front of the car.

clutch is blown, the springs in the clutch plate have popped out, from racing... i was told centerforce are not a good choice, they are noisy and too grabby for city driving, also, did all of you have heavy clutch pedals? i want to keep mine heavy i'm used to that, who has a centerforce? i am not worried about the grabbyness, i can deal with that, i just don't want it to be too loud, that's why i didn't go with the timing gears, i went with the chain

so weither it is the clutch or not, the transmission is coming out tomorrow morning, it is sitting at the shop right now, while the transmission is out, i am probibly going to change my rear seal, put a good one in, clutch plates, throwout bearing, possibly my clutch fork, if it is worn, pilot bearing, and possibly a transmission tailshaft, and i'm gonna ask if he has the gears for the spedo cable for when i get gears in my rearend, anything else i should ask or get?

k i am lost, i am on enterforce's website, they list this for mustangs in 89...

1986.-1993.
5.0L 302" ENG.
8 CYLINDER INCHES: 10.4 1-1/16-10 381021
CF360048

(Disc Not Included) CFT360048

(Disc Not Included) DF021048

(Disc Included) N1714

that's kinda all messed up, but basicly what it sais is that for centerforce 1 and 2 the disk is not included, and the dual friction it is, what disk are they talking about?

Heh you are in the same situation I'm in right now. I just replaced the clutch cable with a Steeda last week, so far so good. Just tonight, my clutch went out.. so yeah.. I'm in the same boat as you. I'm also gonna replace the rear main seal when I go to put the new clutch in. Are you doing the work yourself or having a shop do it?
