hi,i jus bought a completely stock 91 gt 5.0.it runs great and i was looking at a bunch of different things to upgrade.i know 4:10s but im going to make a long drive to arizona from california pretty soon so ill do that when i move down there.i was looking at a k&n (fipk).then some ford racing wires and and x-pipe and a shifter for the time being.i just need any advice at wut to get,but im not rich so jus keep that in mind.thanks alot.
where in arizona are you moving to? i live in phoenix...if you move here you should join our mustang club. we cruise usually sat nights and have alot of fun... theres about 6 people in our club right now. anyways biggest bang for buck would be gears but if ur gonna wait till your hear for that then get subframe connectors and drag shocks...made a huge difference in handling for me. i would go with xpipe, highflow cats and flowmsaters dumped over the axle...sounds great and that what i have.. im getting gears soon then im selling it to buy a 5 speed 89-92. anyways let me know whats goign on..love to have you join our club or juss hang out with us...you prolly wont know anyone so we will show ya around.

Get an electric fan, that shroud and fan clutch are hideous, lose the A/C it's ugly and weighs about 30 pounds, throw some pullies on there while your at it, you should add at least 10-15 horsepower, a custom ram air set up always helps if you have a fendermount cold air intake, just run some 3" dryer ducting from the opening in the front bumper, this makes a huge difference once the car gets rolling, you can have all this and about 20 hp for under $300 if you buy the intake kit on ebay, make sure you buy the ford racing a/c eliminator it looks good.

Your intake flows ~135-140cfm and your heads flow ~160cfm, so you can pick up good power by porting your stock lower intake for ~$130 (see link in my signature) or you can go to the junk yard and try to find an Explorer intake cheap. If you need to keep emissions, you must find a 96-early 97 Explorer intake with the internal EGR passages like the stock intake.

intake stuff, i would say get a new maf, go to @ least a 73mm i notices a big difference, mine cost me like 210 canadian after taxes, then i would to bbk cold air, looks better than the k& n and it's cheaper, the k & n is a plastic tube with the regular cone on the end, the bbk is chromed steel with a blue filter on the end, it's an oil bath aswhell, and for the one with the in fender mounted filter, it's about 220 canadian before taxes, i think the normal k&n is about 300 canadian, also i would get a new h pipe aswhell if your looking for sound, and if your not worried about emissions go off road h pipe definetly it will bring out the rumble nicely
