Just in the market for a new Powerdyne Charger does anyone in here run one and have a clip of the sound of it? As well as power gains? Any info is appreciated.. thanks

my friend has on he is running a bd-11a unit and he has a 306 gt40p heads full exhaust profesional products intakes, 73 mass air 65 tb 30# injectors, stock converter with a valve body hardened input shaft.. otherwise stock trans... 3.73 stock rear... runs 12.6 1/4 @120

the charger is extremily quiet totally sleeper style...

there are much better chargers out there but this unit is quiet, easy to install (no oil lines) and cheap...

il see if i can dig up more info for ya...

If you are going to spend the money on a blower, stick with a proven unit like Vortech or Paxton. I have personal experience with Powerdyne and they are not that great. You may as well get a blower that is going to last longer and be more positive in making power over a longer period of time that doesn't run off an internal belt, which does fail after a short while. By the way, the loser will always hear your exhaust over the blower, when they are being left behind. Buy a different exhaust system if you want a different sound.

My exaust is already crazy loud it one of the meanest sounding exaust systems out there so thats not a problem, living in Canada is kick ass we have no emisison bullshit. But I am leaning mroe and more to a Paxton charger

Hear good things about them but what am i going to have to switch over when I get one?

It depend on what charger you decide to get the powerdyne has 2 styles BD-11A is a slient drive and XB-1A is a gear driven. Everyone here talks about powerdyne being so sorry, well the XB-1A is bigger in size and more CFM then the S-Trim but is smaller then the NOVI 2000.

honestly, I haven't heard any thing good about the powerdynes either. I went with a paxton NOVI 1000. I paid 1,700 shipped. It's a great blower. as for the sound, It sounds awesome but there's no way you can have a sleeper with a NOVI. they're just too damn loud but they sound cool as hell. paxton is getting great reviews.
