hey i have a 93 5.0 mustang and was wondering what kind of exhaust i should get. I want somthing loud and thst sounds good. but i am having some trouble deciding so could any1 help???
Yeah, I have off-road hpipe (i don't have to go through marta), 2 chamber flowmasters and equal length hedmen headers, sounds great. (Yes i do have a 93 5.0)
There are many great companies. It all depends on your budget. Stainless will last a lot longer, but is more expensive. Flowmasters have always been my favorite. Depending on what you're running for a intake, heads or cam and some bolt-ons, you should stick to a larger 2-1/2 or even 3" from the cat-back or H- or X-pipe. The off-road X or H will increase the sound considerably, and you can even trun the tips down before they exit the rear for an even louder sound... not my fav, but I like hearing it on others Stangs!

I have FMS Shortie Headers, Bassani Cat X Pipe and 2 Chambered Flowmasters. Its not really loud, but if you step on it or downshift then you can hear it pretty good.
I have bbk's shorty headers, h-pipe, and flowmaster american thunder and I love them, I can never get tire of the awesome sounds it produces
I second that, I am running twin turbos this time around, the flowmasters I hear aren't great for my applictaion, but I'd be willing to lose horsepower to still run flows, you can't beat it, where are all the people who usually dog flows and tell people to buy magnaflows or bassani?
i run bbk shortys into a bbk off road into a american thunder flowmaster 2 chamber catback sound great the only thing i dont like is a certain RPMS the sound almost mellows out to where you can barely hear it... kinda cool though if you have a headache...
I'm running equal length bbk shortys into a basani x-pipe w/high flow cats, and then into 2 chamber flowmasters and that's it. no tail pipes. it's loud as hell but nice and deep. flowmasters aren't gonna be too turbo friendly since you need a little back pressure
