88 mustang GT sensor in oil pan?

This 88 mustang doesn't have roller rockers?? But says 5.0 HO on the Plenum also there is a leaky sensor on the oil pan half way down on the drivers side, can anyone help me identify this motor? 351 Windsor? Auto part stores are lost with this sensor.

I can tell you that's a low oil level sensor. It lights up a dummy light on the cluster if your low on oil.

Thanks robs91fox
I figured it was a low sensor but there is not one listed for a 88 GT 5.0
This car is scary fast... it has a complete Borla exhaust , someone spent a small fortune on this car. She breaks em loose in 4th gear. I am questing for some identification of sb ford that came with a low oil level sensor. I was told it could be a winsor 351 block with older heads for compression. I have no idea! Hoping to figure it out.

They came with a roller cam, not roller rockers.
Sounds like an 88 5.0 HO to me, but some good pics would help.

Thanks ratio,
I tried to upload but smart phone is too stupid. I guess I'll have to try the laptop.
This car makes my 08 Gt look like a moped. What's the point to a roller cam without roller rockers? And what and where might i find identification markings?

passenger side of block, above the starter. if it has a 5.0 intake, it is some sort of 5.0/302.

Just bustin' balls here.

With your list of mods I really do not see a huge power machine.

Post some pics of that motor.

What heads and intake are on there?

+1
I'm not seeing anything much faster than stock there either.

You might have to go to the dealer to get the low level sensor. I finally tossed mine a few months back, it wouldn't fit in the canton pan when I built the engine, but I held onto it for some reason. Eventually I got tired of seeing it, and trashed it. To bad..mine wasn't leaking..lol.

This afternoon I am going to get the # to ID motor and heads.
I also have a flaming river manual rack that I'm in the process of installing I need to order a steering drive shaft and tie rod ends that bump steer because she is lowered with that bbk suspension. I'll post a pic of the motor the next time I'm in my office.

My 89 has the sensor.
I took it apart last week and fixed the leak.
You will see a slot around the edge of the bolt head of the sensor housing. There is a horseshoe spring clip in that slot that you must push up by both ends to clear the sensor body. Be careful not to bend the clip, if you do straighten it back to original shape. the body(attatched to the wire) will slide out when you get it right. Clean all the grit and mung from it and set it aside.
1" socket will remove the housing. It has a ribbed rubber sleeve inside that the body seats in. Carefully pull it out (remove the spring clip first) and inspect sleeve for cuts or damage.
Clean out the housing with carb cleaner and re-install the sleeve with a little oil. I turned my sleeve around because of seat wear.
Replace the clip, re-install the housing, and reinstall the sensor body.
Cleaning the grit and grime is essential.
Mine quit leaking after this.
Or you could just get a plug for the pan.

89 LX 5.0 5spd; Original paint, presentable. pro50 with setback Triax handle, retro 1965 knob.Cleaned and re dyed carpet, ordered Mach 1 upholstery in original scarlet and grey to match interior. Fresh gaskets on top, silicon hoses, plugs and wires. K&N drop in, snorklechtomy, freshened the rear end with 3:27 gears bearings and seals.
