Question head gasket install?

I got a set of these head gaskets FMS-M6051B51 and just wanted to know if I have to make holes for the front of the gaskets so the coolant can pass through? Or do they need to be closed? Same with all other coolant holes in the head they are all small compared to the hole in the block and head.

thanks

you should not have to make any holes in the head gasket at all, confirm you have the correct set.
be advised that there is a set direction towards the front of the engine with each gasket.if you install them incorrectly you will block some of the coolant holes and the engine will overheat.

yes i have the gaskets on with the word front in the front, but should the holes for the coolant flow be the same size on the gasket and the block?

Gasket holes should be equal to or bigger than holes in block. Have you tried flipping it over. If no match, check to be sure that you have correct gasket.
