 transmission gears for my 347
i just had a thought, my 347, with the parts i am looking at right now, my power is going to be between 6 and 8 000rpm, doing this, my gears are screwed, if i were to, figuritivly, i know neither the transmission or the rear differential would stand up to the punnishment, but when i get it to redline in first gear, i'm going to be doing 70 mph, lol, it would take 7.3:1 rear diff ratio to do 25 mph @ redline in first... i don't think they make thoes do they?what do other people do with 8000 rpm redline engines? transmission and diff wise?
