A/C control for blower motor speed/defrost is stuck

ok i just recently got a 88 lx mustang and unfortionatly my 1st switch to the left doesnt work, which would be my normal,max,vent etc..selector. its frozen solid and i took the panel out to see if i could fix it but i couldnt figure it out??? any suggestions

check it out carefully there may be some obstruction in it,this switch has a simple movement.if something has broken you will need to replace it.
